Mirror Metalized™ Laminate

AN OPAQUE, OVERPRINTABLE LAMINATE WITH A SILVER FINISH 

Mirror Metalized™ Laminate can be used to produce metalized silver boardstock in-house. Because this laminate is completely opaque, designs must be overprinted using offset, UV, or screen printing. It can be layered with transparent laminates to acheive unique visual and haptic effects and provides a bright metallic appeal to a variety of applications, including trading cards, board games, and folding cartons.

Made of polyester (PET), Mirror Metalized Laminate provides substrates with rigidity and durability and should be used on laminating systems that employ hot knife or flying knife separation. This laminate measures 1.1 mil thick, has a thermally activated EVA adhesive backing, and is compatible with a range of post-laminate processes, such as die cutting, gluing, and stamping.
