Rainbow Holografik™ Metalized Laminate

AN OPAQUE, OVERPRINTABLE LAMINATE WITH A HOLOGRAPHIC FINISH

Rainbow Holografik™ Metalized Laminate supports in-house production of metalized boardstock with a shimmering holographic appeal. Because this laminate is completely opaque, designs must be overprinted using offset, UV, or screen printing technology. The prismatic finish on this laminate has no visible repeats and cannot be rubbed off with regular handling. Transparent laminates can be layered overtop the printed design to produce unique textural and visual results on a range of applications, such as board games, folding cartons, and trading cards.

Measuring 1.4 mil thick, Rainbow Holografik Metalized Laminate is made of polyester (PET) and is compatible with thermal laminating systems that use flying knife or hot knife separation. It adds durability and stability to substrates and can accept a variety of post-laminate processes, including embossing, stamping, and die cutting. Its thermally activated EVA adhesive layer ensures a strong bond with substrates.

This laminate is compatible with offset, flexographic, and HP® Indigo inks.
