Gilt Metalized™ Laminate

AN OPAQUE, OVERPRINTABLE LAMINATE WITH A GOLD FINISH

Gilt Metalized™ Laminate can be used to create metalized boardstock with a golden metallic appeal in-house. Because this laminate is completely opaque, designs must be overprinted using offset, UV, or screen printing. It provides a luxurious look perfect for a variety of applications, including folding cartons, trading cards, and board games, and can be layered with transparent laminates to achieve unique visual and haptic effects.

Made of polyester (PET), Gilt Metalized Laminate provides substrates with rigidity and durability and should be used on laminating systems that employ hot knife or flying knife separation. This laminate measures 1.0 mil thick, has a thermally activated EVA adhesive backing, and is compatible with a range of post-laminate processes, such as die cutting, gluing, and stamping.
