Komfi® Junior 36

A COMPACT, USER-FRIENDLY LAMINATOR WITH MANUAL-FEED OPERATION

The Komfi® Junior 36 is a manual-feed, single-sided, thermal laminator designed for short-run print jobs. Although operation is manual, automatic sheet overlap control, electronic sensors, and automated sheet separation via an in-line perforator ensure the unit is easy for employees to operate. The fixed delivery desk neatly collects laminated sheets after they are processed. This unit accepts a maximum sheet size of 14" x 27".

Cost effective and flexible, the Komfi Junior 36 best suited for processing BOPP thermal laminates. It is also compatible with both digital and offset outputs. A temperature sensor in the middle of the chrome roller moderates the heat settings of the IR heater inside the laminating cylinder. To make sure printed pieces come out in perfect condition, the unit features a combined de-curling bar with both a bar and roller. 

Optional features include an additional feeding desk and plexi magazine, on-roll film slitter, film perforator, a pressure roller coated in PTFE, and a stand-alone OTF module for Sleeking®.
