Gilt Metalized™ Laminate

AN OPAQUE, METALLIC GOLD LAMINATE

Gilt Metalized™ Laminate is a durable laminate that gives print and packaging a shining background that glitters like gold. Because this laminate is opaque, printers must overprint any graphics and apply a clear laminate over the ink for additional protection; by layering Gilt Metalized with other specialty finishes, printers can make truly unique packaging that combines textures, scratch resistance, and more. Printers who produce folding cartons can use this laminate to produce metalized board stock in-house, reducing material and shipping costs, minimizing waste, and increasing speed to market. It also gives an eye-catching golden sheen to board games, gift cards, trading cards, and many other applications that benefit from a flashy, opulent feel. This laminate is receptive to a wide variety of embellishments, including embossing, die cutting, folding, and spot UV.
