PODMaster™ - IDH 54 Dual

A SINGLE-SIDED PRODUCTION UNIT WITH AN EMBOSSING ROLLER FOR SHR™ PHOTOS

The GMP PODMaster™ - IDH 54 Dual supports the production of digitally printed photos using the silver halide replacement (SHR™) method at high volumes. Its unique cantilevered design gives operators full access to film rolls, enables complete control over the web, and facilitates quick loading and unloading. An integrated deep-pile feeder accepts large stacks of prints and adds each sheet automatically. To ensure operators have access to the most vital information, this unit includes capacitive touchscreen controls with a digital monitor that displays current settings and status.

Because the PODMaster - IDH 54 Dual separates sheets using a bursting mechanism, it is most compatible with biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) laminates. It can perform whole-page or spot variable-data foiling as needed with its integrated Sleeking® module. A built-in embossing roller perfectly recreates the look of a silver halide luster. It accepts sheets measuring as large as 21 inches long by 29 inches wide.
