PlatinumNYLON™ 1.2 mil Gloss Laminate

A GLOSS NYLON LAMINATE THAT MAKES BOOK COVERS LIE FLAT 

PlatinumNYLON™ 1.2 mil Gloss Laminate combines a low-haze, high-gloss finish with hygroscopic properties to ensure book covers lie flat and colors pop. This laminate has been corona treated to improve its receptiveness to a variety of processes. Its curl resistance makes it ideal for book covers that need to remain flat in harsh conditions, including humidity, heavy handling, and on-demand publishing.

PlatinumNYLON 1.2 mil Gloss Laminate has a nylon base material with a thermally activated EVA adhesive as a backing. Due to its construction, this laminate should be used on thermal laminating systems that can utilize hot knife or flying knife separation.

This laminate is compatible with offset, flexographic, and HP® Indigo inks.
