PlatinumNYLON™ 1.2 mil Gloss Laminate With DigiBOND™ has a bright, glossy finish that makes colors pop and preserves the color accuracy of digital inks. Nylon films have hygroscopic properties that allow moisture to pass through without causing the laminate to bend or curl. This makes it ideal for soft book covers, which need to lie flat against the pages of a book regardless of how many times the book is opened or exposed to high humidity. Publishers can incorporate creative design elements on their book covers because this laminate is receptive to die cutting, folding, and gluing. The DigiBOND adhesive backing provides superior bonding strength for challenging digital ink types, such as inkjet and inks with fuser oil.
