A GLOSS LAMINATE FOR BOOK COVERS

PlatinumNYLON™ 1.2 mil Gloss Laminate combines a low-haze, high-gloss finish with hygroscopic properties from its nylon base film to create the perfect laminate for soft book covers. Because nylon allows moisture from humidity and other sources to pass through the film, it helps prevent curling and ensures book covers lie flat against the book's pages regardless of how many times a reader opens it. Book store shelves can be crowded, but this laminate enables publishing houses to add unique, eye-catching designs to their book covers using stamping, spot UV, overprinting, and other embellishments. The gloss finish makes bright colors pop while helping prevent scuffing and color shift.
