Foundations Collection
The Foundations Collection includes products that enable flexible packaging converters to create their own structures in-house. Designed to give thermal flex pack converters more freedom and control over their products and processes, these products are compatible with thermal lamination.
METPET Thermal Pre-Lams
Durable and ideal for stand-up pouches, StrataFlex™ Thermal Pre-Lams are made of a METPET core that sits between an EVA adhesive and a heat-sealable PE blend. These pre-lams are designed to be laminated to a reverse printed film. By printing on an adhesive-free film instead of the pre-lam surface, converters can drastically reduce the number of material changeovers on the press and create higher quality packaging. The silver version is ideal for designs with metallic elements, while the white pre-lam helps converters reduce the amount of white ink needed for graphics.

Handling & Storage Information - StrataFlex™ Thermal Pre-Laminations
PE Thermal Sealants
Made entirely of polyethylene (PE), EcoElement™ PE Thermal Sealants consist of three layers: a thermal adhesive, a PE core, and a heat-sealable layer. When combined with a PE print web, these products enable thermal converters to create recyclable flexible packaging with the thermal equipment they already have. Available in clear or white, our thermal sealants can be found with oxygen/moisture barrier properties as needed.
