CLEAR RECYCLABLE THERMAL SEALANT

Ideal for recyclable flexible packaging made entirely from polyethylene (PE), EcoElement™ 3.5 mil PE Thermal Sealant can be paired with a machine-direction polyethylene (MDOPE) or high-density polyethylene (HDPE) print web. It also functions as an excellent sealant layer for thermal converters who use other print web materials, although adding non-PE later will make the package non-recyclable. 

This structure includes a PE core between two thermally activated PE blends: an adhesive layer that can be thermally laminated to a print web and a heat-sealable layer for shaping and sealing. Each heat-sensitive layer activates at a different temperature to prevent the film from adhering to equipment. While this product is designed for thermal lamination, converters can laminate this structure using solventless lamination while still utilizing its heat-sealable properties to shape packaging.
