The GMP Protopic™ Auto-540 Quatro is a versatile laminating system that is specially engineered to laminate digital photographs produced using silver halide replacement (SHR™). This laminator features a deep-pile feeder and intuitive touch controls to ensure user-friendly operation. It is capable of performing both single- and double-sided lamination. With its built-in embossing roller and integrated chilling system, this unit can perfectly replicate the traditional silver halide luster on laminated digital prints using PlatinumSHR™ 1.6 mil Gloss Laminate, providing photofinishers with a high-quality, low-cost alternative to silver halide to combat supply chain issues. 

The GMP Protopic Auto-540 Quatro utilizes bursting separation and can perform whole-page or spot variable-data foiling as needed with its integrated Sleeking® module. Photofinishers who use this system for photo printing can expand their product offerings to include in-house production of photobooks, invitations, greeting cards, bookmarks, and more.
