These sustainable EcoElement™products enable print service providers to offer brands products that reduce plastic usage, support compostable applications, or are compatible with recyclable packaging.  

Recyclable Products 

Because EcoElement PE Thermal Sealants are made entirely of PE, they are the ideal solution for recyclable thermal flexible packaging. These thermal sealants can be paired with a PE print web to create PE packaging that is store drop-off recyclable. They include a thermally activated PE adhesive layer and a heat-sealable PE layer for shaping and sealing, so thermal converters can make packaging in-house with the equipment they already have. Find white and clear versions that offer oxygen and moisture barrier properties as needed. 

Compostable Films 

Made of bio-based cellulose, EcoElement CLS Films are completely plastic-free print web options for converters who want to make compostable labels and packaging with solventless lamination.They are ideal for easy tear packaging and are receptive to several types of embellishments. Manufactured using a zero-waste model, these eco-conscious offerings come in high-quality gloss and matte finishes.   

Plastic Reduction 

EcoElement CLS Laminates are made of cellulose combined with an EVA adhesive for thermal lamination. While these products are not compostable due to their plastic adhesive, they are an excellent option for thermal converters who want to minimize the amount of plastic used in business cards, pocket folders, folding cartons, book covers, and more. Get these laminates in a flat matte or clear gloss finish.
