Karess® PET Film

A SOFT-TOUCH, ADHESIVE-FREE PET FILM FOR FLEXIBLE PACKAGING 

Karess® PET Film is a premium print web film that enhances the haptic appeal of non-retort flexible packaging formats. Its soft-touch finish gives packaging a memorable rose-petal feel that forms a connection with consumers. It can be used to enhance printed designs in a broad variety of markets, including specialty foods, cannabis, health and beauty, and more. 

Measuring 48 gauge thick, Karess PET Film is made of durable polyester and supplies flexible packaging with a degree of structure and rigidity. While it cannot be used for retort packaging, it can withstand high temperatures in manufacturing. These qualities make it an excellent finishing option for stand-up pouches. This film is compatible with both reverse and surface printing. 

Karess PET Film is designed specifically for use as a print web film in flexible packaging applications and has no adhesive layer. This film must be applied to substrates with a flexographic press or wet lamination system using solventless, solvent-based, or another type of wet adhesive.
