WHITE RECYCLABLE THERMAL SEALANT

EcoElement 3.5 mil PE White Thermal Sealant can be combined with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or machine-direction polyethylene (MDOPE) print web to create recyclable flexible packaging. It can also serve as a sealant for thermal packaging that uses other print web materials, although packaging that includes non-PE layers is non-recyclable. Its white appearance is created by extruding titanium dioxide in the PE blend, a process that does not affect the film's performance. 

This structure includes a core PE layer as well as two thermally activated PE layers: an adhesive layer for thermal lamination and a heat-sealable layer for shaping and sealing. Each heat-sensitive layer activates at a specific temperature to keep the film from melting to the chrome roller. This thermal sealant can also be used with solventless lamination.
